Tuesday - September 28th (5 Miles)

Interval Run
Today presented a major challenge. I had to step up the interval runs to include further distances. This seems to be the general trend of the training. Every week you add more distance to the intervals. For the last two weeks I have been running 200m intervals today was different. I did run the same format however. 2 mile warmup, intervals and then a 2 mile warm down.

The numbers look pretty good, you can start to see some progress.

I was really sucking wind on the last 100m of the 400s. I see room for improvement.

This was really a great training run. Times looked good and I did not feel too fatiqued after the run.

Now a well deserved day of rest and then a Tempo run.
